(THUNDER BAY, ON) – A warrant for the arrest of 27-year-old Kyle Bundy was issued by the Thunder Bay Police Service (TBPS) regarding numerous assaults that took place, one involving a knife and a person being wounded.
Allegations are that on November 29th, 2019, a woman contacted police and reported historical assaults that she claims she suffered at the hands of Bundy. She indicates that on April 20th, 2013, they attended a “celebration of life” together at the old Eaton’s Centre. They were then walking towards the direction of Pier 61 and then she claims that Bundy made rude comments to a group of girls that were across from the bar. The alleged victim confronted an intoxicated Bundy and then he punched her in the face with a closed fist. Luckily, the group of girls approached and assisted her.
Further, between May 17th and May 19th 2013, further allegations are that the alleged female victim were living with Bundy in Westfort. At the home, a discussion erupted where the woman confronted Bundy about him talking to a number of ladies on Facebook which upset the alleged victim as they were in a relationshit together. It is at this point he punched her with a closed fist on the right side of the head and she got knocked unconscious for an undetermined amount of time and fell to the ground. When she came to she says she had a bad headache and her ear was bleeding. The woman required surgery to repair the damage to her ear which was a ruptured ear drum.
Further allegations stem from December 26th to December 28th 2014, the two were having a small gathering at their residence when Bundy called her into the kitchen. At this time he became quite upset because apparently she had not done the dishes. He then pulls out a knife and put the tip of the knife against her neck and said “I TOLD YOU TO DO THE FUCKING DISHES!”. Frozen in fear, the woman said nothing as she believed this incident could escalate further. She immediately did the dishes.
Even more allegations are that between April 20th and April 25th in an undetermined year, Bundy and the woman were at Shooters and Bundy was drinking considerably. Later on the woman gave him a ride home and the male began arguing with her from the back seat. As she was driving he pulled her hair and continued to argue with her. Bundy then struck her in the face, causing her to bleed from the nose and the lips.
