Historic Sexual Assault Charges Laid


(GERALDTON, ON) – Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) North West Region Crime Unit investigated as sexual assault complaint that was reported to the Greenstone OPP Detachment on May 23, 2019.

As a result of the lengthy investigation, Henry MAKI, 88-years-old, of Geraldton, Ontario was arrested and charged on November 13, 2019 with the following offences under the Criminal Code:

  • Rape, Section 144.
  • Sexual Intercourse with a Female under 14 years of age, Section 146.
  • Sexual Intercourse with a Female between 14 and 16 years of age, Section 146.
  • Sexual Intercourse with a Female, Section 153

The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Geraldton on January 9, 2020 to answer to the charges.

    1. Anonymous What planet are you from? The reason so many people are doing drugs and bad things is because they choose to do it. Plain and simple. Most likely they are trying to purge their minds of the shitty environment they come from. But it is easier to blame someone else. And the worst part is the lousy ass smooching politicians allow it. Plenty of people on this planet had just as shitty backgrounds as some others and also lived with booze, incest and abuse but they didnt turn to drugs booze or crime and blame everyone else for any of their problems. Many of those people turned out decent. So you will just have to excuse me for pissing in your glass of bubbly but the guilt trip is over.

  2. If this guy is guilty, he should be punished to the fullest extent of the law.

    What’s difficult to understand is why the victim(s) have taken so long to press charges? The old pr!ck will likely be dead before his trial begins.
