EDMONTON MAN ARRESTED BY DRYDEN OPP LAST EVENING DRIVING DANGEROUSLY WITH STOLEN CAR
Appearing this morning, Saturday, March 31, 2018 via telephone from the DRYDEN OPP Station in Courtroom 104 is 35 years old HANS ADRIAN THOMAS.
It’s W.A.S.H. (Weekend And Statutory Holiday) Court today. Her Worship, Zelda Kitchekeesik is presiding. Provincial Crown Andrew Sadler is here along with Duty Counsel Lianne Roberge.
THOMAS was arrested last evening near Dryden by the OPP. Court hears he was allegedly driving dangerously and refusing to pull over for police in a stolen car with a stolen license plate. He also had a stolen ID with him. under the influence of alcohol when arrested. He’s charged by OPP with 12 charges.
Thomas was arrested previously for related driving incidents and released on an undertaking first, then a recognizance. One of his conditions was not to be behind the steering wheel of a motor vehicle.
He’ll spend the weekend in custody then appear in Sioux Lookout Bail Court on Tuesday, April 3, 2018.
