The crown is willing to consent to her release, and suggests cancelling her previous form of release which was an undertaking, and upgrading it to a no surety, $300 no deposit recognizance.

The crown is looking for Ratcliffe’s release conditions to have the following:

  • Do not contact the complainants
  • Keep 100m from complainants home
  • Keep 100m From the businesses where the cards were allegedly used
  • Reside at her home address

The court hears that Ratcliffe has missed court before and has had numerous warrants issued for her arrest.

When asked if there is a problem Ratcliffe is facing which stops her from attending court, Ratcliffe responds with a sluggish slouched “nope”.

Ratcliffe is granted release and has a future court date set for May 25 @ 1:30pm.
