Today some REAL Concerned Citizens took on the cold today, Sunday, April 8th, to do their part and help clean up our city.
The clean-up efforts are continuing in the tradition that began last year in August. Citizens from the facebook group “The REAL Concerned Citizens of Thunder Bay” get together once or twice a month and do as much as they can to tidy up a spot of town.
Today, the first clean-up of the year, saw the crew tidying up an area of Marina Park between the skatepark and Howe Street. Altogether, the crew hauled up TEN garbage bags of trash and other debris. 9 people including group leader Ashlee Dawn showed up to the event.
The next event will be April 22nd, 2018. Please join the Clean-Up Crew Facebook page (posted at the bottom of this article) if you want to help out. We are always looking for more and more people to join us.
Thank you to Eco-Superior, The City of Thunder Bay, and Trixx for sponsoring this cause.
